SUBA

Hi!We Hope You Like Our Blog... We Think It's Amazing!So.. Look At It! (:
Suba

SUBA

Suba is Bogota’s 11th location; it is at the north of Bogota. Its name comes from a chibcha word Zhuba, it means “my face”. Time ago before the place got urbanized there was plenty of trees and vegetation. Suba has also many hidric sources called “humedales” like the Torca,Guaymaral, La Conejera, Córdoba and Juan Amarillo.

About the transportation, you can take several public transport like taxis or buses but there is one called Transmilenio that would take you ti your destination in a really short time and by a low price. If you are traveling by car and you want to get to Suba you can take some streets likes Suba’s Avenue (which connects Suba to the rest of the city), The Cali’s Avenue (to the west) or the North freeway (to the east).

Suba has many interesting places you can visit with friends like malls like for example Bulevar Niza, Centro Suba, Subazar, San Rafael, Outlet (Bima), Plaza Imperial and Centro Comercial Santafé. There is also a new really beautiful and big library called Julio Mario Santo Domingo it is by the 170th street near my school the Abraham Lincoln School, which is a very good school and is the top 15 of best schools in the country and in Bogota. I hope you visit Suba.

Malls (:

As all the people in the whole world have some needs, you too!for pleasing that, you must go to MALLS ; )
In Bogota there are many malls, but there are some that are the most important and the ones everybody know.

SANTAFÉ: This mall was the biggest mall in south America, but now there are bigger ones :( any way, this mall is so big; it so modern and it has a huge variety of shops! You can find from FOOD
to KIDS GAMES, for sure everything or almost everything you need. Every time you go into a shop, someone will always receive you saying something like this: ''Good afternoon! How are you? What are you looking for?'' This kind of polite things make you feel so good, and well attended. There is a place called PHOTO BOX, were you change clothes, and then a machine takes you 3 pictures, the pictures are printed and you keep them!

UNICENTRO: It is also a great mall in Bogotá, recently it was remodel and
its appearance is very nice, this mall is big too, now the parkings have and amazing technology, in the top
of each parking lot, there are some sensors that are redwhen the space is busy, but green when it is empty, IT IS AWESOME! :) If you come to this mall in the night and the weather is too cold, don't worry! I really don´t know why but when you get in you feel like in home, you feel a warm environment, maybe because the overpopulation in this mall! Hahaha it was just kidding!! But it is cool.

Malls :)

ATLANTIS: This mall is near ANDINO mall, it is located in the
(zona rosa) of Bogotá, this mall has like 5 floors, in this mall you can find a restaurant that you will not find in any mall in Bogotá, this restaurant is HARD ROCK cafe, this restaurant is very good I recommend you this. You will find in here that some people will dance in all the mall for hours, that is great! they dance very good, this help the people to be attracted to the mall, and it makes it more interesting.

SANTA ANA:

It is a medium mall, it has exotic, or different shops were it seems everything is amazing. In some hours of the day Santa Ana gets so full, the bigger concentration of people is ubicated in Carrefour, a big shop. In the rest of this mall the rest of the people are hanging around. From my point of view, this mall is not ubicated in an strategic place, because it is not in an street edge, bu
t in the middle of a street.

Santa Ana outside.

CENTRO MAYOR: This mall is brand new, it turned in the bigger mall in Bogotá, or thats what I think. The mall is very well ubicated and it has many visitants, which is good! This mall is to visit in family because it has in the middle of it a kind of park, with false grass but nice. You should come to here with someone, this mall is huge and you can get lost! :S HUGE mall

Malls :D

ANDINO:
This mall is modern a
nd big, it has inside cinema, shops, food, games, well too much things, I think something that characterize this awesome mall is that most of the shops you find in here are shops of recognized brands, and when you go to here you will see that the prices are so high, but take in mind that you are stepping in a great mall! :D

LA GRAN ESTACION: This mall, is very big, it is located in Salitre, in a place surrounded by many houses, residences, well homes. Sometimes you can find people inside doing activities for all the public, it helps a lot promoting an special product that people want to sell. You can find also cinemas, restaurants, clothes etc... near this mall a train go by the way; but this train is not an usual train, it is very large!

SALITRE PLAZA: In this mall, there is a bridge to get in, in this way many people get into this mall, a very good thing of this mall, is that it is ubicated in a very strategic place because many residences are ubicated around it, and it is more less in the center on Bogotá. Inside Salitre Plaza, you can find many shops and an special space only for children, with many games!
