So, come to Bogota, in here we have a lot of places we can do sports in, or maybe to see how others do sports.

You can go and do sports in the different gymnasiums of the city, like Bodytech, Bodytown, Compensar and more, well, this are some of the most sports

places in Bogota, in this spaces you can find

also, swimming pools, jacuzzis, Saunas, and relaxing areas! FUN! :D

You can go and see how others do sports, in `El Campin` its a soccer place, were soccer players go and demonstrate how much they know about football.

There are also some clubs you can go and get fit, like the Carmel club, in here you cando sports, like swimming, tennis, football, basketball, bowling,volleyball... ! Here in our wonderful city, BOGOTA, there are some specialized places in some sports, like '' Futbol 5 '', '' Academia colombiana de tennis'' and well, there are many, but we know only a few.

If you are a student, you can go to Abraham Lincoln School! this awesome school, has after class classes, were you can practice volleyball, soccer and ba

sketball.

If you are a grown up person, and you have only time in the morning, or in the afternoon, or in the night, don't worry! be happy!, all the gymnasiums have a variety

of times, you can choose, and go! ;)

Gold Museum

Havn't You thing About Bogota's history and all the Historical Things? .. Well there are places in which you can learn Stuff about this interesting Topic. One Example is The Gold Museum

The Gold museum is ubicated as we know in Bogota it shows an extraordinary pre hispanic goldwork collection, the biggest in the world in its's exhibition rooms on the second and the third floors. these items are from the indigenous cultues that were obtain from different parts. this museum has a collection of 50.000 pieces (amazing!) on the first floor there are the restaurants and the shops also The Gold Museum Restaurant and Café.

On the secon floor is when the expositions begins the Main Room is called People and Gold in prehispanic Colombia. Through its glass cases it displays the goldsmith work of the different cultures which inhabited Colombia before the Spanish people arrived also,the room is divided into different halls for every culture.

Last time i went with my family and it was so fun.. cause we don't use to go many times to the museums but we went and we where so amazed cause there was a part in which you enter and then is like all the place gets dark.. and you get so excited .. so when we where there all the gold things in the glasses had a light and then like a voice start to explain everything telling all the historical so we where like so concentrated and then when we get out we were so satisfied :)

NATIONAL MUSEUM

So.. this museum is the oldest one in the country and one of the oldest in the continent!!... has more than 20.000 articles, its ubicated in the ''carrera 7 No 28-66'' is very far to my house so ita was difficult to me go there cause this days it has been so much traffic

Restaurants

Have you seen the wonderful restaurants in bogota?

Lets look at them... In this city there is a great variety of restaurants which you can meet and visit. There is a zone of many restaurants and bars... its called the "T Zone". This zone is the perfect place to take a walk and relax, and have a delicious lunch in one of teh many options you have which offers diferent options of food; since chinese food, untilsea food. You can also go out with your friends on a friday night to one of this bars and have a great time. This area offers an unparalleled nightlife in the capital. You will feel freedom because this area is made for pedestrians which means you can walk around without fear of anything because normally people walking down there to see the decoration instead of going in car. you will feel that you are in a relaxing society which makes you have a great relaxing time.

One of the main restaurants of hamburguers is MC DONALD'S. But not only for hamburguers, you can eat also nuggets which are delicious! and also the french fires! with tomatoe saulce are.... mmmm unexplicable!! Another restaunrant is the Corral. it is of hamburguers with cheese, bacon, onion or any thing you can imagine! just order. Another of hamburguers is charlies rostbeef which is my favorite i dont know why... it is just unique!!! I LOVE IT!!! There is a delicious restaurant in usaquen called la hamburgueseria and as the name say, there are one of the best hamburguers in bogota.

There are opther restaurants of other type of food. For example there is WOK which is delicious, There is CREPS & WAFFLES which have the most delicious waffles in all the world!!!! Just eat them! Another restaurant is called the carnal which is of mexican food based on "burritos" which have many delicious saulces so you would like it... im sure!!! To conclude.. there are many choices of food you can choose... so choose and enjoy your food because in bogota you have too many alternatives i think it is imposible to have it all... but welll.. TRY IT AND ENJOY!

Normally do you like to stay home all weekend? do you like being boring all time? NOOO!

that can not be!! you have to change your schedule!! So that's why i am going to show you one of the best and more interesting topic of our city! The entertainment! in this following 3 articles i can show you the main things of entertainment in bogota.

CASINOS

In this beautiful city... BOGOTA there are many things to do! things for friday, for saturday, for sunday and even things that you want to do on others days! A perfect plan for adults for friday is to go to the casinos!!! it can be also a great plan for childs but we can not enter because we are too small... :( for the ones who dont know... casino is a place of entertainment where you play for gainnig money. They are casinos in many places,in unicentro, in san rafael, and in many other places.
I went to unicentro, to enter to a casino, but obviously i can not enter, because that plan is only for people with 18 years or more. My brother is 17 years old, and i asked him the favor to enter and take pictures or videos because he had a face of a 24 man, but it does not work. So thats why i can not take pictures or videos of a casino inside and also it is prohibed to take even photos or videos inside. into the casinos, there are some machines... it does not depends on you, but on your luck to win or fale. There is a saying that is: There are only 2 classes of people in the casinos... The people who fale, and the liers...
jajaj that means that it is imposible to win. It is not true, you can win but when people win, people starts to play more and more money... so that is the way they fale then all their money... so if you are going to play... win something... and do not play more because you can fale EVERYTHING!

PARKS

Another form of entertainment are the parks. There is a park called MALOKA. It is a thematic park on science and technology located in Ciudad Salitre neighborhood in the town of Fontibón of Bogotá, Colombia.The site opened on August 6, 1998.That is a perfect place for the children beacuse is an educational park. Among its attractions, it is the cinedome where they present documentarys in a giant format. Is the only cinedome in latinamerica. Maloka there are five clubs in Science: Small Explorers, Biology, Robotics, Chemistry, Astronomy, and Energy;

In these days, MALOKA has focussed in Bogota, its awesome because in the first floor there is a giant map of Bogotá, with all the locations, neighborhoods and all the houses, avenues, streets of Bogotá are shown in there.

There is also a digital map, in which you can find your house and make 'zoom' to see everything better. Basically Maloka has almost everything about Bogotá, the uses of petroleum, and nature. You will also find small representations of natural disasters, you can see how it works! But thats not all, there's a section dedicated to electricity, the best ''attraction'' in one named THE JAIL, it consist that many people get into

a jail, they get scared and finally a thunder passes through the jail but doing any damage to anyone! And, finally, if you have children, you can let them in a kind of guarder for kids!

Some students enroll in a few months earlier and meet every Saturday for scientific projects and expand their knowledge. There is another awesome park, but this is a different park because it is an attraction park. is called Salitre Magico! It is situated in ciudad salitre...it is maybe a little far but it is

awesome because there you can find roller cousters, acuatic atractions, the horror house, and much others, but there are also shops of food, or drinks for you if you needs them. If you love the adrenaline, please go to a theme park. Too many games where you can die of fright. It is the oerfect plan for your family to take in a weekend and it is going to be the best and funniest day of all your life! you can invite your sons, cousins, uncles, grandparents, parents, you brothers, sisters, and even the drugstore seller! because it is cheap and there are offerts for example in days for children. like halloween!There is also a similar park called mundo aventura. There in mundo aventura, there is an awesome attraction... is called in spanish... TRONQUITOS, but it is basically not for us but for smaller kids.

Circus

In this days, cirque du soleil had come to bogota. It is an amazing circus. It have some different issues. We went to one in vegas... it was about the beatles. it was awesome! Now is in Bogota and we have the opportunity to see it again and enjoy it so much until we explote of hapiness! it is an inexplicable experience... we can not loose this opportunity because maybe it wont repeat NEVER!

There is another circus here in bogota called "El circo de los hermanos Gasca". It is a circus as the named say, it is from the gasca brothers. it is nice and you can see many tricks with animals like lions and so more but remember... this tricks can only be done by profesionals! do not try it at home or in any place because it can be dangerous.

Yo can take photos getting up in an elephant! it is awesome and in the photo the elephant appears eating mani with the "nose" up. You have to go there. is the perfect place to have a nice weekend with you family and friends, and it is also for every age! but maybe some litle kids would be afraid about the elephant; but remember... it is just an animal... is friendly just enjoy this experience.

Finally... there are so many ways of entertainment in this awesome and funny city, and we must knew it all... so make your agenda of all fridays of this year because you are going to enjoy every wonderful thing that this city bring us.

- Library Julio Mario Santo Domingo:

It is located in the Avenida Calle 170 No. 67-51. This library was inaugurated the 26th of May of 2010. The construction starts in the 2007 and y finish the 26th of May. This library is one of the biggest libraries in Bogotá. It have access to internet, it have a "Videoteca", a "Sonoteca", a "Bebeteca" and a "Ludoteca". It has a theater with capacity for 1250 people. You can ask for books, magazines, newspapers and dictionaries. When I went to this library I went with 2 friends and we pass very well because we don’t know that new library that is near of our school that is Abraham Lincoln. This library is very cool because is very big, and it is very organized and it is very beautiful, it is very funny to be there because there you can go to read, to connect in internet, to prepare expositions, there you can go with friends and you pass there very well.

- Library Virgilio Barco: It is located in the Western Bogotá; it has a restaurant, a garden, parking areas for cars and bicycles. The name of the library is in tribute and recognition for the help of the ex- president Virgilio Barco Vargas. It has a general ward which you can find things for all the public, services, and collections. It has Children's Room when the family can read with their children. It has a Bogota Room that was and is sponsored by the "Camara de comercio de Bogota". It is a place propitious for the development of the civic culture. I haven't went there nearly, but when I was little kid I went with the school, and it was very fun, because it have a room that is only for kids, and we can play, we can read a lot of a variety of stories for kids like: "Caperucita roja", it was very fun also because we also can go outside to play or to do anything.

- The library of "El tintal"

It is located in the occident of Bogota in the avenue of Cali. It has a room for young people and for adults with a capacity of 500 people. It has a computer room a "Hermoteca" and room "multimedia" and it has a room for 100 kids. This library was design by the architect Daniel Bermudez. Now it is a public library, for all the people who need computers, books and sometimes relax by reading books or in some cases watching videos, movies. It also has a light management that achieves a perfect light for reading through the "pockets of light" on the second floor, which stand on the facades. In this library the reading and nature are the protagonists of different workshops for children that motivate the sensitivity of children. When I go to this library I read outside with all the nature and it was very beautiful, because sometimes you can’t read outside with all nature, I went with my family, and I have a really good time, because I watch a movie with my brother and it was very funny. If you want to go to this library you can go in this time:

Historical Monuments ;)

Do you know something about you city? Maybe about the history? Or about the things people considered important in past times? As some people want to stay in the past and learn about the people, social, politic and econimical aspects, the city has built different constructions that are in charge of reminding us our origins and fights. In this web page you will learn about all this old aspects and more because of the sculptures and Pictures we have in Bogotá.

This architectural things done in bronze have 27 monuments of the Bogota times of our city, as I said befote this will have economic and political contributions that tells a lot about our wonderful city. One great person was Simon Bolivar or the female independence heroine Policarpa Salavarrieta, more known as the "Pola" ( the main character of the novel we can see today in RCN TV programs at night)

Most of this monuments are located principally in the Bolivar Plaza, the Journalist's Park, the Rosario Plaza, the National the Santander Park, and others.
